I LOVE this pesto so much!!! It tastes wonderful with italian pasta, of course! But not only! Such as Pesto Prawns with Bean Paste on Prawn Crackers (Click here for the recipe). I am going to post some new dishes coming with this pesto in the next days. I hope you will like this easy going pesto. Once you tried this pesto, you will never want to buy any canned one from the supermarket anymore!
Ingredients for the Basil Pesto:
2 pots of basil
2 cloves of garlic
50g pine nuts
1 pinch of salt
30g freshly grated parmesan cheese
30g freshly grated pecorino cheese (if you can not find it, replace it with another 30g of parmesan cheese)
A lot of good olive oil (native virgin)
Mix all ingredients except olive oil with a blender very well. Then mix in the oil slowly until you reach a creamy texture. That’s it! Enjoy!
